CONTEST TIME!

I thought it would be a perfect time for a contest. What do you think? Ok, so here it is!

This contest is for designers and sellers mainly. You will win FREE ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION of your company through my blog and other online networks!

All you need to do is this:

1. Retweet this game (@aspiringcouture so I know!)

2. Post in the comment box a link showing pictures of pieces you have created. In the comment box below this link post a blurb about what you want to communicate through your works of art and what inspires you. ( If you can figure out how to post a picture directly in the comment box, you can do that too!)

By doing this you are already exposing yourself to people who may not have otherwise seen your work, so whether you win or don’t win-you are still getting yourself out there! The winner will receive a blog post of their work with anything they want to add to it-as well as further promotion from me!

The last day to enter is June 1st. We will announce the winner on June 2.

Why not sign up when you will win either way!

Looking forward to this.

  3. I love the ideas that you have! http://www.creativeforcesbycarolyn.com/catalognew/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=237

I work in many different mediums, charcoal, watercolor, fused glass & other one-of-a-kind jewelry.

I want to communicate beauty with my work. and what inspires me is different each day. It may be a word, a color, a smile from someone I love, a flower, there are so many influences and inspirations within each day.

as for inspiration.. clearly objects found in nature! anything delicate, colorful, playful. I only wish to communicate the beauty of simplicity through my work.

    am I forgetting something? probably!

thanks for your time! I'll be adding you to my blogroll...

  5. This is great! I am a jewelry designer. my complete portfolio can be found at www.artevitta.com, my "work in progress" esty shop is artevitta.etsy.com.

I feel that as beautiful as museum art is art is something that should be shared with the whole world. I view my jewelry as functional, wearable art that can be enjoyed by both the wearer and anyone who sees it.

Most of my work is inspired by nature, the elements and the color of the outdoors. In many of my earlier works, the process was as important as the finished product. In other cases I design a whole piece around a stone, shape or feeling.

I am currently exploring the possibilities that glass holds for some of my ideas.

(and... I'm adding you to my blogroll too)
