Strive to Inspire

A quote from Marc Jacobs popped into my head when looking at this artist's work. "I'd rather be hated than inspire no feeling whatsoever".

These are not the traditional pieces you would find in a woman's closet. There is a sense of risk and it pays off in this case. This artist communicated her ideas in a more non-traditional way. These pieces are very opinionated, and they all seem to be like that. They break the mold a bit or what a women is supposed to wear-but at the same time there is still a classic elegance about them which I totally love!

Controversy could spring up about "fashionable or not" (and though I think these totally are) but I think the true point is this artists ability to take risks and communicate a point of view!

If this isn't art-I don't know what is! I also have to just put a quick plus in for the photography. It's amazing! And I can not stress enough how important it is to have great photographs in fashion! It really just completes the communication and let's the buyer really get that message.
