Wedding Wednesday!

This week on Wedding Wednesday I have decided to turn to the experts! I enlisted the help of Pavaune Pearson, owner of Invited. She started Invited to allow her to create on her passion for weddings. She is fairly new to the blogger scene but has taken off quickly with some great wedding posts!

I now leave you with some great advice from Invited!

Color

The coming trend in weddings is color! Bright color is becoming more and more popular in the industry. You can see it taking center stage from the bridal gowns to the tablecloths!

The key with bright color is to not overwhelm with it. Use pops of one or two bright colors in unexpected places to make the overall look cohesive but unique! Make it you!

Its important to remember that the wedding and event industry is ever changing, color is "in" right now, but what about next month? Staying at the forefront of all these changes means you have to constantly keep reading every sort of wedding and event magazine, but – even more importantly – you need to be reading blogs. Magazines only emerge once every month with their advice, tips and tricks, so they have a month for all of their information to get stale and dated. It’s the blogs that will keep you updated on all of the innovation that continues to happen in the industry.

My advice to brides out there is find three or four wedding blogs you adore and check in with them on a daily basis. You’ll get some great inspiration to think about each day, and I guarantee you’ll have a fabulous wedding to boot!

What are some great recommendations?

  2. Even though I'm way past the wedding stage, I like the idea of incorporating color into the weddings. White is nice but color is better.

  3. @blanco designs - I know what you mean, but the concept of color can be used in a lot of other things too! Like decorating your house, or putting together an outfit! It is a great idea ins't it?
