Eidia Lush, one of the fantastic designers at Winter on the Runway, has launched its Couture collection of shoes!

We were very happy to have them contribute to the show, and their designs definitely helped give the runway a bit of flair! I was surprised by the options and different types of styles that could be made, as well as the fact that these are not too expensive! Yay for that!

Debbie Marie Gallery, currently celebrating their 13th year in business, has kindly opened their boutique to Aspiring Couture!

Every third Friday in Downtown Campbell, CA the boutiques and art galleries gear up for "Art Walk", where the downtown area, filled with over 10 art galleries, has a Friday night sale and celebration. This being Debbie's Anniversary, she is getting ready to offer big sales and more original work!

Guess who is tying the knot!

My soon to be Brother-in-Law Eric and finance Caitlin are getting married in Carmel in January. Not to mention my BFF/Maid of Honor/soon to be Sister-in-Law getting married in Feb! Following them are a few of my close friends! Yep-2010 is going ot be an exciting year.

This brings me to my next point, WHERE should I have my wedding??? Carmel, Monterey, Napa, Los Gatos and Saratoga are definitely on my list of places to check out! Here are some spots in Carmel that I found and really loved!

I'm very excited because Abby from Style Me Pretty said she would give me her recommendations for incredible wedding venues!! YAY! So next week I will show some of the besties!

PS: Yesterday we were pleasantly surprised with a letter from someone we hadn't heard from in quite a bit. It was a congratulations regarding our engagement- and of course the question came up, When will the children come??? And the answer: roughly in February 2012 (I am quite the planner!).

Thanks for the letter and here is to hoping that all our friends and family will be present to celebrate our wedding together! Keep those lovely letters coming.

Winter on the Runway SALE!

Winter on the Runway, the runway show we had on Saturday, was extremely successful! The feedback was great, the show was beautiful and the place was packed! Pictures and video will be coming shortly! Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the show! I was amazed at the number of people ready and willing to help!

I will be showing the highlights of each designer as well as the sponsors AND some giveaways I still have left. Those things will unfold as the week goes on and I attempt to get everything organized and working again!

In the meantime though, I am having a SALE! With Christmas just around the corner, these items are actually quite marked down!

Winter on the Runway is just two days away! So crazy how quickly that came along! I have a few quick notes, then some exciting news for those of you who would love to come, but don't live in the area!

Since it is my birthday AND Wedding Wednesday- I figure I will tie the two together by dipping into my folder on my desktop with endless pictures of beautiful wedding cakes! I know I featured cakes last week, but who cares, they are so pretty!!

My favorite color is Peach

I love these simple designs by Roger and Peach. I like when a dress can act as both a holiday party dress and a cute summer dress. These definitely provide those and a lot more options, which makes for a cheaper wardrobe change!

I'm really looking forward to their next collections! Can't wait to see what else they do!
